My ideal sleeper would be a clean looking civic ek9 with a big turbo with a hidden intercooler on the front. Just hide it behind some black wire mesh or something. I really like fwd sleepers and I think the civic is the best looking hatchback.
But if I was going for a old beat up look I would definitely be looking at something closer to the green brothers 323 wagon. << something you should really look up, it is a rusty looking old wagon which does mid 9 second runs.

VW Rabbit Mk1 Golf for sure the best sleeper.
