So I am getting a 2015 WRX and was wondering your guys' opinion on it, do you like it or hate it?

And if you have driven it, is it nice to drive?

Suburu WRX/ STI's are my favorite cars. The new WRX's are very nice but I think if it is a car that you are going to put money into and mod it you should get the STI, its just an over all better platform car and can take a lot more as far as adding things to it. But if you plan on riding stock which is ideally the best way to go, I think the WRX is a perfect car.

I'm not so sure about that considering newer WRXs get the FA engine.

If you plan on keeping it relatively "stock" then the WRX is a absolutely amazing car, but if you get bit by the mod bug, prepare to spend big bucks on rebuilding you're engine! I personally would prefer an Evo x over any wrx or STI for that matter.

There is some truth to this but not 100%. The ej257 has always had issue with ringland failure but an easy fix is to check your oil regularly " I check and top off as needed ever 1k miles " and adding an AOS is a great way to prevent this but OP has the FA engine so there is no evidence that the FA will have the same issues. Still the AOS and checking oil on a regular basis is still a good idea.

It's a nice car but can be very costly
