fknvlink wrote That is probably a bit harsh but the teacher was right.
When you get a job you can't say things like that because you don't know how easily people can get offended over seemingly little things. Wouldn't want to lose a job because a customer or higher up got offended.

I don't think she was though. The fact of the matter is that she tried to silence my opinion because she is the 'all powerful' teacher.

she didn't try to silence your opinion. You said jesus christ and were punished for it. Not much of an opinion to silence. Its like saying f/ing hell. Its rude to say but you don't do it to offend anyone it just happens that it might. Intent doesn't really make a difference.

By silence my opinion I meant what I said after she got angry for saying Jesus Christ. Saying fu**ing hell IS a swear word while simply saying a name is not.

I remember one of my teachers shouting at me for saying "Oh my God" to my friend.

She didn't like me talking about her imaginary friend apparently.

It's so dumb. We have to respect their opinions but they don't have to respect ours.

Im just gonna put this out there...

Most of my mates including me aswell would love to stab some of the teachers in my school, they treat you like your not a human and have no rights, its wrong how bad teachers are getting.

One of my teachers refuses to help my mate because of how bad he is at the subject... i mean come on, to get good

the feeling is mutual... it just shows how most people will abuse their authority when they have it.
