just wanted to see what people says, and their reasoning
and yes I know he lost a few times but I'm sticking with him being the best

No sorry but he was knocked down by someone that weighed around 180 pounds. He was very overrated and a cheat.

Did you ever see him box? Have you seen his fights? I cant really say since I never seen him fight but he is among the best though. Read that he was never scared who he fought. Never ducked an opponent.

Silly comment's aside, He was the greatest in my opinion, Not just in the ring but he was 'the people champ'
Mike tyson, also one of the greatest says himself that ali was the best.

Looks like he had great defense and offense. That is a great boxer imo

Yeah, I liked him boxing wise. Outside of boxing i disliked him though (NOI)

Okay first of all I want to say yes Muhammad Ali is the greatest boxer of all time
I have actually watched most of his fights
His speed. His footwork. His reflexes, were all perfect, perhaps he has lost 5 times but any fighter he has lost to he beat in a rematch except post-parkinson's.
Watch Muhammad Ali dodges 22 punches in like 12 seconds
I know about the majority of boxing generations (1920s-present)
I have actually watched most of his fights

Rocky Marciano was good, probably even in my Top 5 of all time. But he was fighting in a generation with not many great boxers, perhaps Jersey Joe Walcott, but that's it. Muhammad Ali fought in a crazy era with killers like George Foreman, Joe Frazier and Sonny Liston, not to forget Floyd Paterson.
Muhammad Ali overcame all 4 of them.
