Looking for a PC to play the newest games in 4k
doesn't need a OS.
I need a keyboard, mouse, headset and 2 monitors, only 1 needs to be 4k though.
I'd like for it to look really nice too. thanks.

No need to spend anymore really. I'd be installing a custom loop in this thing though, it deserves it. If you're not gonna install a custom loop, grab a H110i GT for your CPU. Titan X is a ridiculously expensive card, but it will handle 4k with ease, and you can add another one in SLI if you ever need to. You don't even need to go with the i7, so you can save money and grab a 4690k if you wish. If you need another monitor, just grab a 1080p panel, something like this;

Since it's considerably under budget, you could get more storage. If you're interested in custom loops and are prepared to install one, you may want to spend more on a case, for a bit more room. You may even want to go with an X99 rig? It won't benefit you any in gaming though, so I assumed it wouldn't interest you.

2.6K build and not 16 GB of RAM? I know its completely overkill and not needed, but so is half the other stuff in the build. OP I would throw in another set of that RAM.

Do you think a custom loop is worth doing?

Yeah, because 16GB RAM isn't needed. OP could add more RAM if he wanted but it'd be pointless. None of the other stuff in that rig is pointless? People need to stop acting as if more RAM makes a build so much better, it doesn't. Most of the time, it literally makes no difference.

Yes, definitely.

Well it'll add around $400-500 to the price and it'll also take a while to setup plus void most warranty's, so best go with a EVGA GPU Titan X

Still worth it tho.

OP- Obviously you want to make sure you know what you're doing and what not before thinking about installing a custom loop, but it's definitely going to be worth it IMHO. Check this out;

Hopefully it'll help you out. Personally, I'd grab a custom case from [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] . If you really wanted to, you could grab a 5820k, but an X99 motherboard and DDR4 RAM are going to bring the cost up, and it's not at all worth it for gaming.

I'd do it myself but it's not "worth it" let's be honest unless you're after the E Poon of course.

It's hella worth it. All the ladies love some wet components. I'd get a custom loop tbh, if I had the dolla for it. I don't see any reason not to do it, if you have the money for it, unless you don't know what you're doing. Up to OP really, but I'd definitely recommend it for that rig, especially with the Titan X since the reference cooler kind of holds it back.

That's a cool site for cases. I think I'm going to get my case from there since you can change a good amount of stuff on it. I'm not sure if I'll try a custom loop or not though but they look really cool.
