For some, things like this is unimaginable. This is unheard of, men and men don't get marry or woman and woman. Their whole life they have been taught marriage is between male and female, and this is against peoples beliefs (like mine). Is it ok for someone to say those nasty words, no of course not. But when people try to make everyone accept gay marriage, that is never going to work. But when shows do this, people are going to react and they are sick of all this gay marriage agenda everywhere they go, I'm sick of it because it gets old. Same with politician ads in election time for example.

The 'Gay agenda' is a silly invention created by homophobes to justify their bigotry.

Society is becoming more accepting, that's it. There is no agenda.
Gay people don't get together in underground groups and discuss how they can infect the media with homosexuality.
As it is becoming more accepted creators of shows and films are bound to incorporate it into their stories more often.
I also think there's a lot of confirmation bias going on. Off the top of my head I can think of 3 TV shows with gay relationships in, and 2 films.
Is this really something for homophobes to get so worked up about?

Why don't you have the same reaction to murders on TV? Is that not bad? It certainly goes against the Christian religion yet you don't see them up in arms about that.
One of those TV shows, Game of Thrones, has incest, a little boy being pushed out of a tower, the murder of a mother and her unborn baby, and literal exploding heads, only one of those things gained much attention, and that was the incest, and the only reason that did gain so much attention is because of where they were doing it.
Why is homosexuality such a huge deal alongside all of these other things which gain no attention, but all are condemned in the Bible?

I don't care if everyone accepts gay marriage or not, obviously it would be a much better world if everyone did, they just have to allow it, and not let their opinion get in the way of a human right.

I have gay friends, and they are the nicest people I have ever met hands down, I have gay family members.

It always looks like that European countries are more open to reform. Anyways, congrats to them. When same-sex marriage becomes legal throughout the U.S. Its going to be a huge victory.

So if they had two straight actors performing a gay sex scene where no actual sex was being performed, you would be fine with that? You wouldn't care, same as you don't care about simulated murder because it's fake?
Let's face it, if you're watching real gay sex in a TV show, you're watching porn.
So, by your logic Christians shouldn't be mad about that because it's not real.

You keep spouting the first amendment, freedom of religion and freedom of speech.
Freedom of speech does not infringe on freedom of religion, you have the right to hold religious views, I also have the right to say they are stupid views.
You do not have to change your views just because I say they are stupid, but you do not have the right to stop me saying they are stupid.

They don't know what straight sex is until a certain age, so shouldn't we allow them to be exposed to that concept either?
It's only a big deal because homophobes make it a big deal. "Men can love women, women can love women, and men can love men." Is that really such a huge thing for a child's mind to comprehend? Are they going to explode if they picture it in their heads?

There is no "gay agenda." People are gay (which harms no one) and shows like to reflect real life in that type of way. Children don't know what any of it means? Ok, so stop getting men and women kissing each other in shows as well. It is the same thing whether straight or gay. Kissing is kissing as long as it is consensual. Gay people in shows isn't pushing a belief onto others. If so, I would have jumped all over shows like the 700 Club, Duck Dynasty, or even old shows like Touched by an Angel. They aren't pushing beliefs onto me, because I choose not to watch them. I know their messages, and I avoid them. Pushing beliefs onto others would be not allowing shows with gay people or shows with religious beliefs just because people don't agree with it. And just because I can: Two of my current favorite shows have gay people in them as part of the main cast. Modern Family and Sirens. Great comedy shows.

This is the shit I don't like. People get into huge arguments about this shit when it doesn't really matter all that much. The biggest thing with the gay marriage and all that, is religious people think it marriage should be between a man and women. Personally, I think it'd solve the issue if they called it something different for gay couples and gave them the same benefits as a straight couple when married. Both sides solved imo. Personally, I don't care about gays and I'm a right winger. If you're gay, just don't shove it in my face and we're cool. That's my 2 cents.

That's not equality. Having to relegate it to something different highlights the inequality of it.
