i have had 2 turtle beach headsets for my xbox one and have had the same "reversed sound" issue with both. XO Four and XO One. when playing call of duty following footsteps and gunshots is nearly impossible. is anyone else having this issue? and is there any way of fixing it? thanks

you can't "reverse" the cables. there's only one 3.5mm jack and thats it. plus the headset can't turn around because the mic piece plugs in and only faces one way.

The same thing is happening with my XO One's. I think it's because since this is a low end headset, it doesn't have directional audio. Or hell, it might be something with the controller. It's really annoying when I'm racing and I hear a car come up on my right side and they're actually on the left.

It's because it's Stereo not Surround sound.....

Stereo would still have a left and right channel, if they're "flipped" that makes me think it's an in game setting. To be honest, as good as CoD's sound design is I would test it on a game like Destiny if you have that to play. My XO One's don't really give me an accurate representation of what's happening in a CoD match, but they sound wonderful on Destiny. It could also be in your audio settings in CoD. Lots of variables with this kind of issue.

XO Ones aren't bad headphones for the price, I'm using old school TB's through a sound processor and it's like day and night when you compare the directional audio...although I wish I could use my Audio-Technica m50x's

Try playing with some settings and let us know how it goes, I'll see if there's any other suggestions I can come up with in the mean time.

Good luck!
