Doing a revamped logo for a local restaurant. Let me know what you think.

The focal point is an Eagle with the head representing waves, and the wings representing mountains.

the wing looking things on the sides of the mountain are not symmetrical. also try to refrain from having elements flaring out of the logo because you want your subject matter to be the main focal point so perhaps make a second one without the things flaring out and make the text a but smaller and move it up a little.

I didn't do the wings symmetrical on purpose. Thank you, I'll see how your suggestion looks

I think that this is really cool.
I really like how you made the design to look like either a mountain or an eagle, depending on how you look at it.
Very nice.

Seriously one of the best logos I have ever seen posted in this section. I really enjoy the minimal eagle in the background. Looks nice.

Do you happen to have an image to show what their old logo looks like?

I do Thank you, and by the way the owner loved it. He liked the wings from the original, so I kind of kept that look but morphed it into my idea of the mountains.

Original Logo he had.

Definitely a huge improvement from the original. I love everything about it and, I kid you not, a logo like that on a restaurant would definitely make me want to go inside and check it out. May I ask, what kind of restaurant is it?
