I have a DD-WRT router for my VPN and it works for everything, even my retail console, but it will not connect when I'm trying to use it on xblz. I tried asking them for support but they didnt have a helpful answer. Does anyone know if you need certain settings on a router to be able to connect to a stealth service?

What are you even talking about your router settings for a VPN? A VPN doesn't involve your router at all lol? And no you don't need some certain settings on your router to connect to a stealth service.

Obviously you don't understand what a DD-WRT router is. My VPN is going through the router.

I understand that, I use a VPN as well on my RGH but I just didn't understand why he did it through his router when most people run the VPN on their computer and bridge the connection via an ethernet cable.

It doesn't matter how you use a VPN. Using it through my router makes it easier to hook up to anything in my house. It still has the same functionality

It actually does matter lol... When you're setting up a VPN server on your home router using DD-WRT its making your home router a VPN for others to connect to. What you're suppose to be doing is connecting to someone else's VPN not making your own. For example there is a VPN called MullVad. You would purchase MullVad, run it through OpenVPN, and connect to Xbox Live via ethernet cable. All you're doing is making your own vpn for others to connect to when you should be connecting to someone else's not making your own.
