pretty good topic here yet alot of things apply with insurance companies.

where you live ( high chance of being stolen or broken in to)
what type of vehicle you drive (sports cars and v8 cars or anything with gt or ss)
Driving record ( good or outstanding tickets)
Medical Insurance charges in the US (if you do not have health insurance they take that on to the price of your car insurance now!)
and now the newest thing is what they call GAP insurance

Gap insurance
if you buy a 70,000 suburban or other high end SUV
the insurance companies do not tell you this but most vehicles over say 30k you need what they call Gap insurance so your have to pay 2 insurance companies to cover the cost of your new vehicle due tot he fact that your normal insurance company will not cover the full cost of your high end car you just bought off the lot

to be honest if you want to make money in this world own a insurance agency
