Hello I just picked up my PC parts and I put it all together and im not sure how to overclock. Im currently using a i5 4690k with a hyper evo 212 cooler on it. My mother board is an Asrock Z97 EXTREME4. I tried doing it in the bios but when I go to my system properties it shows im running at the stock 3.5Ghz.

The clock speeds won't show as though they've changed within Windows, you'll need a program such as [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] to monitor your clock speeds.
