Think about the type
of designs/designing area
you feel interest you.
Try new things and continue to progress with new pieces. Look at some tutorials or just freestyle your designs i guess.

Practice all the time. Look up tutorials to find new tools, new ways to create images. The more knowledge the better you will be.

you need to start by finding out what kind of media you want to do

-Commercial
-Digital painting/arts
-etc.

Then you must look for a unique style and by doing that you must think in the eyes of the audience. (Not everyone will know the subject matter if it is abstract)

you also need to know the basic use of colors and what they all mean as well as proper blending techniques . (for this i would recommend you study the color wheel)

But like i said it really all depends on your media and target audience.

Tip 1: Stop calling it GFX.

Tip 2: Stop wandering around. Sit at your computer. And try wondering how.

Tip 3: Look at Zef's guide. Basically asplains all.
