All i want is for them to keep the Christmas day stuff on like the snow etc.

Yes it is. They should of had a better defence than a random internet group for a simple DDOS attack. When you pay premium you should expect a premium service.

Any site/server can be taken down this easily. Trafficking can pretty much shut down ANYTHING. They could do it to cia.gov like it has happened before, or even to TTG. Imagine a highway. Now the highway is filled with cars and nobody can go anywhere. This is how the attacks work. They send in these fake cars that stop anyone from going anywhere. And no. It isn't their fault in any sense. Nobody wakes up and think well, we're going to get cyber attacked today. The kids doing it will be faced with computer terrorism as this is an act of violence of such a large company.
