I was talking about drawing PSG , I then said "We can beat them too , Showed that last year" as you pointed out we beat them last year.

But i think we could beat any team in the CL on our day (Not saying we will) but with our starting 11 we can beat anyone in CL

I quite honestly don't care if you thinking the Bayern midfield is better because it's a somewhat subjective debate that won't end but you seem so dismissive about Chelsea in general. Chelsea could have a competitive game vs Bayern that would challenge both teams. The result wouldn't be pre-decided as such, both teams would have a respectible

Results are from 2011 onwards.


They are some of the biggest teams in Europe, I fully believe that Chelsea can win both the Premier League and Champions league. They can win against big teams as they have proven time and time again. They have an amazing squad and first team. however that is just my opinion.

you do realise in recent years we are the most succussfull english team in europe? , Look at our record vs Barca we are one of the only teams to give them a challange in recent years , When everyone was raving about napali (WHen they had Hamsik , Cavani , Lavezzi etc) we beat them 4-1 to progress ,We have beaten Bayern , Barca (Multiple times) , PSG/
We make back to back quarters/semis and are consistent in the competition.

but i guess your right , We have proved nothing in europe right.

Dominant team? maybe so for this season although you're a massive 3 points in front of City and you've spent over a billion pounds to win less premier league titles than we have in the last 10 years.

2. 3rd highest revenue compared to Chelsea who once again are 6th

3. Worlds most supported sports club

4. 62 major trophies compared to Chelsea's 28

5. 2nd highest average attendance in Europe

6. Won the premier league in 2012-13 you last won it in 2009-10

7. Have won the premier league title 13 times compared to your 3. 20 League titles compared to your 4

By the looks of it I don't see you're dominating English not by a long shot what because you finished 3rd last season and top of the league before the January transfer windows just look at Arsenal last season.

Liverpool fan here.

Chelsea have proved themselves plenty of times in the champions league & 'pryzel's' stats even prove it to you

Chelsea will win the league as long as they can mantain their nerves and keep players fit, Chelsea will do PSG over two legs

Confident they will go to the Semi's of the champions league, if not the final

I also agree matic has been a key figure in chelsea's midfield

Matic,Fabregas,Costa,Hazard,Oscar,Willian,Schurle, It's a scary midfield.

Your paying 20m for falcoa (How many goals does he have btw?) on LOAN , 30M for shaw etc , You won more titles in the last 10 years , What about the next 10? xD.

Barcelona don't look as exciting as they once did, they used to rule the football world a few years ago and could be any team pretty easily, now they look sluggish and of course Xavi and Iniesta aren't what they once were.


We shut out Bayern with a significantly less fluid team than we have now, it's hardly a mountain.

Chelsea could have a competitive game vs Bayern that would challenge both teams. The result wouldn't be pre-decided as such, both teams would have a respectible

More like a typical Chelsea fan, I'm not disagreeing with you that you may be the most dominant at the moment and for the next few years which is when Mourinho will leave and you'll find it harder then.

Also are you forgetting torres who looks like he's on his way back to stamford bridge.
We paid a premium for all of those players because other club knew they could get a lot from us as we were desperate for players.

If you didn't use phrases like "quite a mountain to climb" as if implying that Real/Bayern are far superior to us, I wouldn't have doubted your football knowledge. It's ludicrous to imply that we're significantly worse than the pair.. "quite a mountain to climb" is normally the type of phrase commentators would use if we went 3-0 down at Stamford Bridge and had to win at the Allianz, not a simple Chelsea vs Bayern/Real fixture. The chances of me looking silly are rather slim because I'm often very much in favour of somewhat intellectual football debate. This would be a slightly exception because your underlying point is largely flawed.

Courtois: Top GK in La Liga at 21, got to the champions league final and was minutes away from winning it.
Azpi: Best one-on-one fullback in the premier league.

Matic: Instrumental to the success this season

If your argument is that our squad collectively haven't proved themselves, that's because this individual squad make-up has only existed in this form for the last few months. In that time, we've gone unbeaten in all competitions excluding a silly BPL loss, topped our champions league group, etc. We couldn't have proved much more in the short time this team have existed together.

How else were we meant to stabilise a top spot? All decent young players want to come to the successful teams. It is impossible to break in to the top four consistently without investment. Plus, you've picked the worst time to criticise us on finances considering the absurd wages Rooney/RVP/Falcao are paid, paying 30Mil allegedly for a season long loan with an injury tarnished striker, etc.

What even is the stigma against spending money in football? Assuming you don't violate financial fair play, it's a bloody good strategy and was the only option to breaking in to the top four consistently.

Just saying you cant go round throwing out the "You spent 1 billion pounds" when most of our players we paid off ourselves with players we didnt want , This just the year after you spend what 150m on players , And your not done yet either , We dont need anyone else , You need a whole new defence atleast.

Mourinho isnt going to leave untill he racks up the PL trophy count , And probably atleast 1 cl before he goes.When he goes we will find someone , We can go for the top managers in the world as everyone knows how good we are we , Taking over an amazing team and Jose has mentioned including some of the young players and has mentioned some of our youth players as the future of chelsea , Also giving a number of youth players there debuts so he is staying for a while.
