The guy was believed to be bluffing when talking about the bombs, he said if he dies the bombs explode, hes dead and no explosions.

It is not clear if he is apart of ISIS or not, during the hostage he released 2 hostages for police to give him a ISIS flag though.

Police commissioner Andrew Scipione said that no bombs have been found, not sure where GoldCoast got that information from.
