So i have the 7.1.2 from pangu jailbreak on my 5s. Everytime I try to update and remove my jailbreak to ios8 it says network error failed in my itunes. This occurs about 75% through the update download. Also, its not my network. I have tried this on 3 different computers and 2 different internet sources.

I am stuck right now. Any insight would be helpful.

I will +rep to anyone that can help me get my phone off of this jailbreak.

Put the phone/device into DFU mode and then try restoring the device via iTunes once more.

Update:

If anyone else is experiencing this network connection error, even though you know for sure it is not the network. Try this:

Solution: Since I was restoring my 7.1.2 it was forcing it to update to 8.1.

My iTunes software hadn't been updated in a while. I think since it was so outdated, it was preventing ios8 from being installed on my phone. So update your itunes and it should fix the problem. Worked for me.

Pangu won't work update to 8.1.1 there is a stable jailbreak for that version

[ Register or Signin to view external links. ] <---- For Ios 8 ~ 8.2 Jailbreak

If you want to get rid of the jailbreak completely go get the Api for your phone depending on your Service provider you will have to find out which one you will need
once downloaded click restore on Itunes and hold shift and left click it will let you choose the api then hit restore, It will remove the jailbreak Completely just make a back up before you do this because it Wipes all data.
