Just thought I would see the opinion of some of you basketball guys. Who do you see leading the MVP race this year?

Some of my picks:

Anthony Davis
Blake Griffin
Lebron James
Kevin Durant

I would really like Anthony Davis to win MVP but most winners are from a Top 3 seed team.

Lebron is, for the most part, averaging better stats than all of them.

Stats aren't everything though. He'll probably win it if he doesn't turn it over with 9 seconds left like that Spurs game again lol. Still my pick though!

For those who didnt see it:
He just walks off lol

EDIT:
I suppose if I had to pick a number 2 it would be Anthony Davis. I forgot about him haha

Durant hasn't really done anything yet this year considering he's injured. I would give it to Anthony Davis. Kyle Lowry is having a great season too.

1. Anthony Davis
2. Stephen Curry
3. Blake Griffin
4. LeBron James

Steph has really been carrying the Warriors this season, and now they are on a 12 game win streak. Don't be surprised to see him in the talk, I got him at two.

Durant just came back from injury so there's no way hes in contention.

If I had to pick the player who I think will be MVP I'm going with Stephen Curry. Its literally to the point where Steph is carrying the Warriors.

Tim Duncan....at age 38 and still being amazing, I mean come on a triple double on the Grizzlies? Hes a beast.
Also look at that throw, what is he throwing? A soccer ball?

But in reality, Anthony Davis will probably end up winning the award.

I disagree with you highly. You have to play at least 41 games to be eligible for season awards, which he will (barring another injury). The Thunder started out 3-12 before Westbrook and Durant came back. Say they go 50-17 for the rest of the time until the playoffs, that would prove that Durant is the most valuable player. It's not about stats, it's how that player changes a team. And if Durant does lead the Thunder for the rest of the way, and they do 50-17 or even better (or just a little worse for that matter), I see Durant being in the final 3.

I never at any point said that hes not going to be in contention, I stated that he wasn't in contention right now, which is disagreeing with what OP said.

If Durant was half as good as he was last season, he'll be in contention by the end of the season. But he's not even close right now considering he hasn't had time to make an impact.
