Why would you even try pvp if you're not up to the levels of most other players? I work every day and go to college and yet I'm still a level 25. Just have to find time if you really want to.

I have classes, I play soccer, and I have a job. I'm level 21. And I go into Pvp because roaming worlds of robots that I kill instantly isn't fun..at all.

I find it pretty ridiculous that you wouldn't be able to play a big part of the game just because you are not up to a certain level. Just because you managed to find the time to get to level 25, doesn't mean everyone can. And even if people do have time, it doesn't mean they spend it on Xbox straight away. Other hobbies do exist ;)

I agree that the pvp could do with some better matchmaking. The current matchmaking just results in high level players running around and dominating the game, and low level players camping because they can only win a one-on-one if they strike first.

My point exactly. Great game, great ideas, but what's the point if I'm getting destroyed when I have a limited amount of time to play

I agree with it being a great game, but pvp is the worst on this game, you really can have a level advantage if you have more abilities they dont and so forth. And to top it off, almost everything needs cruicible marks, which i truly hate this multiplayer so i just let it sit and play a tad bit.

The game wouldn't be fun if they just handed everything out, unlike call of duty you actually have to put time into this game.

I do think they should fix some things on the crucible such as shotguns.

Exactly what this guy said. There aren't any Level advantages in the PvP aspect of the game. I never have any problems on a lower level character

Damage isn't based off of a weapons level currently. A level 5 shotgun will kill a level 28 just as easy as a level 20 gun will, the fire rate and clip size might not be as good as a higher level gun but it does the same damage. When the iron crucible comes out this October the level and quality of the gear will begin to make a difference. I've dismantled my only primary weapon before and just simply bought a low level gun from the vendors to play crucible and noticed no difference. If this game is too hard for you just continue to blame the equipment and sell the game.
