First, finish up your cannons teslas and archer towers. The archer towers and teslas are expensive but at th8 you might as well do them now so you're not having to catch up at th9.
But when you do get th9 do this order
Get new stuff to the max level of your other buildings>build+upgrade xbows>splash (wiz/mortars)>Archer tower + tesla> air defense>cannons last.
This is the best order because xbows + splash are your best defense and having them maxed out first will help keep any gold you need to farm for the other stuff.
