When people try to sell their GTs etc, they do it like this (for example):
W*termelon
TheT*chGame

Why though? Is there some sort of rule? And I realize this is probably not the right section for this, my apologies.

I've always wondered this, as if they're trying to hide the word from something.

Selling GT's is against code of conduct. If Microsoft were to stumble upon a post they could ban the account for illegal trading.

Microsoft could perm-ban the account for selling accounts because you aren't allowed to do that.

Ive had a tag of mine banned from trying to sell and not censor anything. Its a shame too, the tag was Mansion.

Selling GT's is agaisnt the code of conduct, if you blur out a letter, they cannot ban you as they don't have 100% knowledge your of what your gamertag is.
