SO i was with my mates and they were pestering me and telling me to buy a scratch card but i was like no you dont win ive never bought one, so they asked to borrow 2 pounds to buy one and then they will pay me back afterwards because their mum was dropping them some money off but they wouldnt wait, so they go in and buy one and win 225 pounds and they walk out with 225 pounds looking so happy and i just feel like killing myself because i didnt gamble and didnt buy that card, they gave me 2 pounds back after all that and even though they borrowed it and im there close mate they didnt give me any extra so i just feel soo crap im in the worst mood possible, i could have had 225 pounds all to myself if i gambled...
My lesson for today is to always gamble.
What would you have done?

I hate gambling so if I was in the same position I wouldn't have bought one either. I might have bought one after seeing their winning card but otherwise not haha.

That sucks though.

The chance of losing outweighs the chance of winning, of course it's a small amount of money and you can win a lot, but the chances of that happening are highly slim that it's usually just a waste of money, You just got unlucky, we all do.

Gambling is bad! Leads to sad people. Sad broke people.

Here in the US they're only a dollar. I would've bought one honestly, it's only $1, lol. It's not the end of the world if you don't win anything.

To be honest, I'd have just gone in and bought one. They're not a lot of money so why not? I buy scratch cards now and again and win a little bit of cash sometimes. The most I've ever won from a single card is £10 though. I did once spend &;163;8 on scratch cards and won &;163;26. Also, your friend sounds like a bit of an a$$ for not sharing some of his winning, especially considering it was your fault entirely that he won the &;163;225.

Here in Nevada they don't have them (coincidence eh? since we're the only gambling state lmfao), but I would've bought it. If I were to have borrowed money for it, I'd split the profit
