Synopsis
Jump and fly your way through danger in this rhythm-based action platformer!


Gameplay
Geometry Dash is a fun little challenging game. The game, if you have ever played it, is just like "The Impossible Game". The objective of the game is to jump over spikes, and do all sorts of obstacles. This game is like an update of impossible game because of all the new features and all the new things that make it more challenging like the three new things (not exactly sure what its called), Flying around in a ship, hitting a light square for a super jump, and having to double jump in the air. This game also has where you can customize your square, your ship etc. to different colors and different variations of squares to make it look cooler. There is two modes to beat every level Practice, and original. In Practice all you set down flags or points on the map where they are your check points if you die. You can either spam the flags or it is automated every 3 seconds you survive. In original there is no checkpoints every time you die you have to restart from the very beginning to make it a hard game of course. This game has I believe unless they updated it 15 levels. In some levels it goes upside down, has triple spikes, or brings the obstacles before your eyes. There all really challenging but I would say this game isnt as hard as impossible game. Really fun!


Graphics
The graphics of this game are really simple and much more advanced than the impossible game. Like I said before in the gameplay section you can customize your block to have different designs and colors. You have two choices of colors on every block. The top row is the main color and the bottom row is the secondary color. The designs are really funky looking in square forms of course but like a zigzag formation etc.. The levels are all different with sparks flying up and different things on the map to confuse you. The things on the map dance to the beat of the song your playing to. When your plane is moving around there is a stream of light or something that follows you. The spikes have a white outline on it and some of the spike look like crystals. Everything runs smooth which needs to happen for a game like this that is this complicated. The background of each map changes colors when ever it starts to get harder or when the beat is about to drop, and thats when its really hard. Overall the graphics of this game do not affect the gameplay what so ever.


Controls
The controls have to be simple for this game or else this game would be hard as crap. On iOS just like any other game tapping is the main control. Taping makes your square jump, holding down and letting go of your iPhone or iOS device makes you fly when your in your ship. Now the reason this game is tricky is because if you mess one thing up with the control you cost your self the life and maybe you beating the level. When it comes to like super jumping you dont touch anything and when you come to double jump you have to tap quickly, thats why it makes this game so hard. Oh yes and if your in practice mode to place down your flags or checkpoints you have to tap the little icon at the bottom of your screen. To pause there is just a little thing in the top right corner which doesnt really do anything unless you have to use the restroom or do something, dont pause a lot you will end up getting killed shortly due to you not knowing exactly where you are. I would say overall this games controls are easy and as well cant get any easier. It could affect gameplay if they were different but I doubt it.
