Okay, so we all know Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo etc, are all upgrading there hand holds or console into more modern, hi-tech things, but it has to come to an end at some point?

Do you think some will come to an end due to knew people on the block, and them going bankrupt

In my personal opinion I think that Xbox and PlayStation will be around for at least another 5 years, maybe 10, but I also think that soon enough there will be another console from a new company and will shock the world and Xbox and PlayStation will lose their users.

What do you think?

With PCs getting cheaper and cheaper to build, and games much cheaper to buy, I can see Microsoft and Sony losing most of there customers to people moving over to PC.

Actually never thought off that, Very good point, i'd happily move to pc now if i had the money to build a decent enough gaming computer! Maybe if that happens Microsoft and Sony will concentrate on building pc's :O

Most people don't realise, you can get a good enough gaming PC that should run most games, for the same price as a Next-gen console.

No. Nintendo, Sony, and Microsoft are multi-billion dollar companies.

Plus all the games you buy, extra controller, accessories, etc.

Well, most people (or maybe just myself) would prefer to save and get one say around 1000 just so as you could be sure off it really running smoothly and getting the games as best quality as possible, but if you built your own, i recon 800 and you'd have yourself a mighty fine computer for gaming like.

I can't see that happening. There is a lot of people who don't like pc gaming. Myself included. I'm always going to be a console person. And there is always going to be a market for consoles. I can't see another company taking the trade either. People go with what they're used to. Thats one of the reasons Call of Duty is so popular. Their games were great until black ops 1. Then they focused too much on making an income, and less on making a great game. Yet every year the shops sell out, because we're used to buying their items. Same with Fifa. We will all continue to buy xbox's and playstations because we know them, they're already proven.

Just because they are multi billionaire companys does not mean they couldn't get over taken by newer and better things.

This may be somewhat true, but taking into account, peripherals you're looking at a higher price than a next-gen console... I don't think you will see many new companies coming onto the scene. The aforementioned companies will just evolve to beat off any sort of competition.
