Im trying to interview a staff member of a video game I play about patches and game updates. What software can I use to talk to him through Skype and interview him?

You will probably be using Skype, or something along those lines.

You could use OBS, allows you to basically "Edit" videos in real time with multiple scenes. It is mostly for streaming but does allow for local recording without you streaming, I would try it.

When I set up conference calls and video meetings at my firm I use Skype or GoToMeeting. They seem to work the best for me. Make sure that you're plugged directly into the wall/router/switch/etc... and not using wifi.
