I currently have the gts 250 but i can buy a 7770 for $20.

Is it worth it or should i just stick with my 250?

100 percent go for the 7770 just make sure that the card will work with your build. Also where are you getting the 7770 for 20 dollars from

. I know it'll work with my build. Also my friend has an extra one laying around and he would sell me it for $20

For $20 it's seriously a no brainer. The 7770 is far superior to the GTS 250.

Your PSU should be up to the challenge, as it's powering a GTS 250. But just to make sure, what PSU do you have?
