My Gran, i live with her, only lets me on when its not nice weather, when its nice weather - i have to be out

I'll speak from 15 year old me(20 now)
My parents really didn't care when I played. I already had good grades. Never really had a guideline when and when not i can play. I always found a way to do homework, if I had any, even when playing.

im guessing most people would want to stay up all night and game even on a school night but thats not how it should be.
The games should be off at a reasonable time on school nights and it doesnt matter any other night.

I just recently turned 18. But growing up, my parents never really gave me any restrictions. Restrictions such as turning the console off at a certain time or playing games suitable for my age. I mean, don't get me wrong, it was pretty cool. But the downside to this, is that it had a really negative affect on me throughout high school. I really lacked the work ethic, because I really only wanted to play games. Don't get me wrong here, I still did my work, but study wise, I never really did it. I would also stay up every day, around 2-4 A.M. and man, do I regret it, haha. But things are soon to change. This is my last week I stay up. I start going to my university in about a month, so I plan to change my habits, big time! Sorry, for the rant like post. Lol

From a young age my mum didn't like me playing video games but I told her what's the difference from watching tv you don't complain about that, because I'm still sitting down watching a television

Why I was younger I always had ask to play my play station 2 because they didn't want me on it all day everyday, but nowadays their not really bothered as I'm hardly on it as much as I was a few years ago,

I'm technically an adult (18) but when I was younger they didn't care as long as my grades were okay and didn't get in trouble.

Well mine were always okay with all games usually COD and Halo and didnt care about what time it was

My parents were always cool with it,aslong as the games didnt influence me to do stupid things they were fine with it.

They never restricted what games i could play or like having XBL ethier.

Im pretty glad they're cool with it, im 17 now so they dont really care what i do as they know im not an idiot. but when i was younger like when i wasnt that randomly hanging out with fridns all the time, video games were a good bordem killer.
