Im Not Going To Give My Money To Someone regardless of how trusted they are on a website, when i know no one personally on this to trust them, In My OWN OPINION They Should not have taken paypal away so what if there is 500+ options we are buying a service we enjoy they get the money everybody wins

Been here for 4 days, and you say you enjoy Gold.. Hmm.

As for the Poster, are you really that lazy to just make a google wallet account? They send you a Google Wallet card, that you can use ANYWHERE. You can send money without ever leaving G-Mail unlike Paypal, and they have 24/7 fraud monitoring.. Just get over it and stop throwing a temper tantrum.

i shouldnt have to make another account i dont want 762348746 accounts to pay for one thing paypal is used for everything else so why not now, and going back to a earlier comment if paypal is so bad then why does google wallet use it for some things?

Paypal sucks.. If you get scammed it can take up to 10 days to get your money back. Their reputation is terrible. & paypal isn't used for everything else.. is it used to buy gold on TTG? :trollin:

Yeah, I don't plan on buying gold again because paypal is gone.

Sure entering your bank info for the other options isn't that hard, but I have a paypal already setup with everything I need to purchase it.

They really should bring paypal back.

Scizor wrote The switch from Paypal to Google Wallet is a huge (and positive) change for the site.

Paypal is the EA of the online payments world, a big company but a horrible public Rep and questionable business actions. They can (and most likely will) freeze your account for no reason, make you provide not needed information, and draw out the lock for as long as possible just to make money.

tl;dr NEVER leave money just sitting in a paypal account.

As for TTG, Google Wallet is a much safer payment option for them, and opens the world to a larger number of payment options. Cryptocurrency, Google Play, etc. The startup may be slow for them at first, but Google wallet is really emerging as the replacement for paypal in the very near future.

Completely agree. PayPal has the right to freeze your funds without any warning or reason (stated in the terms of service). Has happened to me many times. Every time with hundreds sitting in my account too. Their polices are awful and there are so many loopholes in terms of charging back.

you must have done something to break rules or had done somethign wrong because all my family have paypal and have had it for just over 4 years and we have never ever had a single problem...

Not really. They flag down accounts receiving huge amounts of money and sending/transferring huge amounts of money. PayPal demands to have your credit card linked, Social security linked, bank accounts linked, every piece of personal information in the world basically to keep it from freezing which is what I am forced to do now just so they don't freeze or limited my account. Another reason for an account to get flagged is charge backs. Too easy to do charge backs in terms of virtual items (which is what TTG gold is). From my personal use many people charge back to scam so I can't predict how many people would do the same to TTG.

why cant paypal be an extra option? and ive never ever had a problem with paypal in the 4 years ive had it so please tell me how its a problem? i dont even think you can vouch for google wallet as it hasnt been out for as long as paypal so you cant really vouch for that until it been out for as long as paypal.

Because TTG recently had an issue with paypal to my knowledge, and due to Paypal's morals and how they do business, having payments being routed through Paypal is a HUGE risk for Sean and the TTG income.

Removing paypal is a ''HUGE risk for Sean and the TTG income.''

But keeping it was a bigger risk.
Remember this is a business and the business needs to look out for itself.
just because you and your family didnt have issues doesnt mean they dont exist when handling thousands in currency

There are risks with everything i promise you that google wallet has more problems as they are really just starting up, paypal has more experience meaning they would have fixed the stupid problems that google wallet probably has

You may want to do some research into that.

Paypal have more issues and take longer to solve them than Google.
If we follow the current trend paypal will lose over 60% of business to Google Wallet over the next 4 years.

I realise we aint going to agree, but do some research to see what you are actually arguing against.

In an ideal world yes we would have both options....but sadly we dont

I didn't realise they took out PayPal until my gold actually ran out, I thought it was a glitch when I got an email saying my recurring membership had expired. I'll get gold again if they bring back PayPal i suppose.

I didn't know the majority was 5-6 people.. You don't see me complaining over it.. I've bought gold 13 times, gifted 106 times, and been gifted about 8 times and I'm glad paypal is gone.. Google Wallet is more convenient and easier to use.
