Okay so last night I was playing Just cause 2 multiplayer and realized when I woke up i had left it on all night so i went to go play it again and all of the sudden my computer just shut off. I go to turn it back on and it powers on and immediately shuts off(no beeps). I do it a few more times and saw the notorious magic black smoke so i unplug everything take the side panel off to see where it is coming from, I check all capacitors and no black ones no rounded top ones and no black on the back of the motherboard. So I take off the CPU and turned it on and it stayed on so i thought it was fixed and i hook back up my processor and when i went to turn it on it immediately shut off and the magic smoke appeared again...It's either bad cpu or bad motherboard. If any of you know anything that could help that would be awesome!

check your wires and put them apart from each or you can take off the side panel to your pc like i do and just leave it

Sounds like a PSU issue or maybe even the fan within the PSU. Definitely do the above and leave the panel off to increase overall air flow until you solve this.

Most likely the PSU, what brand is it?

Stop turning the machine on as it will cause further damage you might be lucky and it could just be a dead PSU but if you keep turning it on you could fry everything.

so one of my capacitors blew up(literally) is what I found out so yeah hopefully I didn't fry anything else but what I had was NZXT 850w 80+ gold rated psu, gigabyte ga-78LMT-s2 micro motherboard, cpu was amd fx unlocked 8 core, evga geforce gtx 760, I have 4 case fans(originally came with 2 but I put 2 more in). Im kind of a clean freak so I kept the inside very clean I cleaned it maybe once every 2 weeks maybe.

I misread the model number of your board as the S2P. The S2 is not suitable for a CPU with a TDP of more than 95w at stock.
