I was thinking about getting a monitor to do my gaming on but my question is will I be able to tell a major difference from my 1080p HD TV that I currently play on?

They are both monitors. You would just have to make sure the monitor is 1080p HD so that you would't have a major difference. Or it may depend on the height and width as well to make sure you don't lose similarity. How big is your tv that you play on?

Here is a gaming monitor I have found that is generally cheap and is 24" and 1080p. Let me know if it is out of your price range or what your price range is. What brand are you interested in?
