BSM wrote its a f ing word, I feel like people over sensitize the word. Slavery is done with... its 2014.. honestly I feel like you saying ONLY black people should be able to say it is worse than allowing anyone to say it. its just word, its the individual that chooses the level of emotions to bring the meaning to...

Your slavery remark does not apply here. Slavery has been done with since 1865, yet African Americans still faced segregation and racist remarks up until the civil rights movement and even still today face racism. Also, i never mentioned that blacks should be the only ones that are allowed to say it, i just said im okay with it because there is the stupid double standard that exists. Sure i agree that we over sensitize the word, but that doesn't mean that it doesn't hold any meaning, even if it is only 2014.

If my remark to slavery is irrelevant, then your remark to civil rights movement is irrelevant, even in 1960, 50 years ago there was racism YES, but as I said.. its 2014, I live in a very well diverse area and I honestly in the 7 years living here Ive only come across maybe 5 acts of racism and they were just verbal slurs ... and to be honest they where not from this part of my city. If you get offended by words, in my opnion, if a 6 letter word offends you're a little to sensitive for me.. It all boils down to the individual... but I dont see the reason in finding words so offensive. There is honestly a racial, nationality slur for every race, every country, every state, etc... what makes the N word so freaking bad?

When it comes down to it, it is just a word so I dont understand the whole ordeal over it anyway. But people thinking they're cool for using such words does bother me

I respect your statement, however i never said that Im offended by it nor am i offended if it used on me. I CLEARLY stated in my rant that it irritates me on the type of people that say it, and im not talking about blacks, im talking about preppy kids who wouldn't have the audacity to say it in front of a black person. And again like the guy above me said, it bothers me on the people who think they sound cool saying it.

So black people and rappers or as you list black rappers can say it just fine but white skinned people or Asian types cannot say it?
They say it to be hood?

I honestly would not want to be a useless hoodrat tbh.
or a leftwing.
BUT

You sir are a leftwing.

I personally don't have a problem with the word, but I know people who literally use it every other word. I can take it a few times, but there is a tipping point where it just seems overused.

Well im black and idc who says it as long as you dont get in my face trying to offend me. Other than that i could care less if non black people say it. There is no law saying they shouldnt say it.

What I don't understand is that whenever a black racist term is used, everyone freaks out.

But when there is racism towards whites, no one cares, we laugh it off.
