Do you realize that in order for the pack to be installed you can't exit out of the installing window?

what do you mean by that ? i'd didn't exit the screen when downloading but i did notice when i finish the download, it had two options to click . 1. play now and 2. continue . only thing fishy was that i couldn't click on play now just continue . so if i get what your trying to say is that i'm suppose to wait till the play now is available .

i've been told that before but i didn't quite get it .

Okay, I had this issue and tried multiple things to get it to work and only one thing worked, but I will post all the things I tried in hopes one of them works for you.

1. Download the compatibility pack and re-download it from either the Borderlands 2 in game shop or from your download history on your account, as it's downloading occasionally move the thumbstick so it doesn't go into "sleep mode" and exit the window for the download. If you try it in game shop first and it doesn't work when trying that way, try from your download history on your account. If you try it from your download history first and it doesn't work, try it from the in game shop.

2. Delete the compatibility pack from your hard drive, then go onto your account downloads, and download it from there without starting up Borderlands 2.

3. Delete the compatibility pack from your hard drive, clear system cache and then go to your account downloads and download the pack from there.

4. If you have licensed transferred anything at all for Borderlands 2, delete it. This is what worked for me. I had licensed transferred the season pass from a friend when Borderlands 2 came out, but when I tried to play it again 4 months back, I needed to download the compatibility pack. Each time I tried to download it, it would say it finished but wouldn't work, I tried the above methods but still didn't work. As soon as I removed the season pass, and tried again, I was able to play online no problem after finishing the download for the compatibility pack.
