Tomoyo wrote Okay so Evigishki I decided to at least test your opinion on fansubs. Now I've watched half of Log Horizon already, I'm on episode 16. I decided to download season 1 from a fansub group called HorribleSubs. Are they any good? Will it make the show experience worse or better for me?

They're one of two groups I try to download from, I don't really see all that many mistakes. HorribleSubs tends to have the most healthy torrents as well.

Ok. But will the experience change for me since I'm halfway through the series? Are their different voice actors or just different subtitles?

Fansubs have absolutely nothing to do with voice actors.

So I began watching The Irregular at Magic highschool, I decided that I can marathon completed anime's and watch currently airing ones. The show is great but I have a problem.

The fansub I'm watching appears to be in 720p, which is good except for every fight scene. The screen glitches a ton during the fight scenes. Does anyone know of any good fansubs for the show in lower pixels?

Btw show is definitely 8.5/10 as of now. Once I understand the magic behind the CAD a bit more it'll be great.

EDIT: Nevermind, Doki Fansubs do it in both 720 and 480, they're also the highest rated fansubbers for this anime. Thanks anyway though guys!

The resolution of the show shouldn't really make the fight scenes glitch. Are you using VLC? if that is the case it is likely VLC and not the show itself

Actually I was using VLC, how'd you know? Anyway I switched to a more recommended player anyway, I'm not using VLC anymore. This new player works a lot better, thanks though Katsumi!

@ Tomoyo - I remember when I used VLC a long time ago, swapped it out for MPC-HC right away and haven't looked back since. If I can find the tutorial I'll link you it, to add even better filters and such to MPC to make it really really nice

I'd suggest downloading the kawaii codec pack. It gets updated a lot more and IMO better than cccp or whatever it is. Kcp also includes MPC. (Media player classic)
