My pc is on the other side of the house and has to use wifi because of the size of the house and the router location. my signal that i get on my pc is borderline 4-5 bars strength.

the problem im having is when i have 4 bars of signal my speed is 1.2-1.6 MB/s.

if i have a full 5 bar signal i get 4-5 MB/s.

is there any way to make the signal stronger on my pc without moving the router or pc. like maybe put something on my pc wifi antenna to increase range or something?

You can either get a High Gain WiFi adapter, or your can get an extender that re-broadcasts the signal -- in turn making strengthening the signal. Usually the adapters are cheaper, but they will only work on the PC it's plugged into. If you get an extender, everyone in your house will be able to take advantage of the strength increase.
