So I've booked an appointment with a 'genius' tomorrow about my iPhone 5s constantly crashing and I was wondering if they will replace it free of charge? Because it is under warranty and I haven't damaged it in anyway.

More than likely they will try to resolve the issue without replacing it if possible. If they are able to fix it rather than replace it they will do so. On the other hand if you decide that you want it to be replaced, break the power button with a hammer or something. Whenever there is significant damage to the power button or side buttons that allow it to not function properly, they will tell you that they have to replace the phone. If the device is still under warranty, then they will give you a new one free of charge. This is a great idea for getting a new phone every time your warranty is about to run out because then they are obligated to find a replacement for you. (I've done it a few times. Works the same with soccer shoes from Nike, 2 year warranty, just use a knife and cut them up and they send you the newest pair.)

Just got back, they ran diagnostics on the device and could see it was a hardware fault, so they replaced the phone free of charge and so far so good.
