Honda is a reliable source of transport. I would recommend Yamaha YZF R125 if you looking in the bigger bike style, but will be a lot more money.

IHaveTheLongestName wrote I live South east london, Im pretty sure for bikes over 125cc you only gotta be 18.
Test for it is like 6 hours long.

no, at 17 you may ride a 125cc bike, and only at 19 may you take an A2 test, which will allow you to ride upto 35kW (47bhp) and a power to weight ratio of 0.2kW (0.26bhp) per kg. You must then have that for at least 2 years before you can get your A license, or you can do direct access to A from the age of 24. Its a rather stupid system(but thats a debate for another day)

Anyway the CBF is a nice bike buddy, a good place to start off, im 18 and currently have a CBR125r (repsol colours). I considered getting a CBF myself when i was buying mine at the time. Good thing is you went with a Honda, which means those aprilia's pass you going a little quicker you will pass them again when they break down! Mines got over 10,000 miles on the clock and never had an issue, so so reliable <3

i would suggest the honda 125 range to anyone buying a first bike as a young rider, especially the post 2011 models which have a slightly bigger feel and some better upgrades to them

this is what i have

Wow man, you really know your stuff; your bike is lovely, I love the colours! My CBF is a 2012 model and I absolutely love it, they're very reliable and I wouldn't ever want to ride an Aprilia to be honest

The only bikes I will ever ride will be Honda, Suzuki, Kawasaki and Yamaha!

The colours are the reason i went for the cbr haha! Aprilia make some great machines, fantastic engines in those, but just not known for their reliability. I plan on taking my A2 test in December when i turn 19, and i plan on getting the Kawasaki Ninja 300, such a nice bike and i love it in that green colour scheme it has on there! But yeah good luck out on the roads, just stay alert theres a lot of stupid drivers out there who don't pay enough attention to the roads!

well after talking about bikes i think i may have to get mine out and go ride it, such a nice day to do so

Kystoria wrote Should have got a derbi gpr 125 bro, amazing bikes but I know CBR's are good too. Good choice ;)

I only go for top 4 bikes, that Derbi does look nice though

Haha, or an aprilia RS125 they are nice bikes too but just copy the derbi as it's the Derbi who makes the engine for them both but my Aprilia's carb went bust within me doing a thousand miles on it

And my gpr 50 I had was a good one too...

Aprilia's are good, they're very quick! My friend has a Kawasaki ZZR1400 I'm so jealous lol

Is that you in the photo?

My derbi gpr50 got up to 61 mph restricted and my aprillia topped about 54 restricted. And nope mate it's my girlfriend ;)
