This is mostly for gaming on games like BF4, WoW, GTA iV/V, Planetside 2.

Just the CPU and GPU. $500 all together. USD

Easy to suggest, but you need to factor in power supply, motherboard and case before any of those can be suggested.

If you are building the whole system from scratch its easier.

Whats the current specs of the system then? We'll need to know as you may need a power supply upgrade when changing the GPU and unless you tell us which motherboard you currently have you might need to change that when changing processors.

I'd look at something like this. Depending on what card you currently have will define what gaming boost you'd get. I included a good quality power supply as you didn't list the make or model, so i'm assuming your current one needs replacing to be on the safe side.

Sorry about that I have a CORSAIR CX series CX500 500W. Is that good enough? I would really love to put more on the GPU so it can run almost every game at 60 fps

It is an alright PSU, I run one myself and have no issues with it. Just I would have gone for a XFX 550W but this was on sale.

The Corsair CX line isn't a bad line of power supplies, they just aren't amazing.
