Last Thursday we had a girl in one of my classes have a miscarriage which is very sad. She is 18 and bout to graduate so she really wasn't that young. But I fully understand your point. I think a lot of it falls on the parenting skills from the parents.

Hoen wrote What bothers me the most about this is when a whole network has television shows celebrating a 16 year old being the most idiotic, irresponsible wh0re.

It's absurd! I'm a 16 year old virgin (by choice boys, if you believe me or not, lolz) and I don't get high or drink, where's my show?? It's the attention. I know it.

Even freaking YouTube channels, a 16 year old with 50k subscribers about her baby and being a teen mom. I have a burning hatred at the fact they do it, maybe not so much personally as I don't know them, but the content of the videos gives me all the reason to hate them. I really don't know why I'm so passionate about this topic...

I partly agree with you here. These people shouldn't be gaining attention and publicity just because they are pregnant at a young age. I don't think it;s "idiotic" or "irresponsible" though. Sometimes, they are completely responsible about it but protection doesn't work 100% of the time.

That's horrible news man. Miscarriages are terrible, sickening news in all honesty. Quite upsetting. Parent's are too loose on punishments now-a-days which is why so may teenagers 'rebel' now. It's also probably why teenage pregnancies have risen in numbers.

I don't have anything against young parents, at all. I think it's fantastic that they are settling down that young and sorting their life out. However, it infuriates me when guys say they will "pull out" or something moronic like that, and then get a girl pregnant and run for the hills. I also hate when teenage girls have children but leave their parents to look after it.

This is one of those things that really do annoy me.

Having a child with your partner is work that you and your partner are supposed to do for life. And apparently being a mother/father is hard. Honestly I don't think teenagers cannot actually cope with the responsibility to raising a child. I know that some only have a child for their own selfish needs and they don't care about the child, and this annoys me the most.

I just don't know what makes people think they're ready for such a commitment when they're only still a child. Its like getting married at a young age. I think that having a child when you're still a child is wrong, and people should slow down and take their life slowly.

25 is a suitable age to have a child if you're happily married and you have a nice in come. Not 15 and still in school with no job that can help you with a child. Its not right.

It's not wrong; but I see them as a lesser person to myself.

In the UK its easy for a young teenage girl to get pregnant, get a house and claim benefits for the rest of her life.

Not to mention im no statistician but id happily guess that 95% of the teenage population that are having a baby did not get a proper education down to there own doing, either that or being lazy and just useless.

I look down on those people as they are taking the easy option in life, and that gives them the lowest level of life; living in some shed in a council house estate surrounded by scum rather than making something of there own life, getting a decent job, getting a nice house, nice car not having to scrape every last penny just to make ends meet.

But hey, that's the mentality of my generation, the majority of people do not want to do anything, as for me that's brilliant, more opportunity's for people who actually want to make something of the life!

In my 7th grade class a girl was pregnant and I didn't know until 8th grade. She didn't go to school anymore and she was posting pics of her belly on Facebook.
It's unbelievable that a 13-14 yo would ever get pregnant so early.

In our society now, its impractical to have a baby under the age of 24 imo. Finish college and get established!

However, I think females were made to have babies at 16-18.

I was the age of 15 when I got my Ex-Girlfriend pregnant. I am now 18 years old graduated from High School last year and starting college in the summer. I work for my Parks & Rec for my city(no its not like the show) I have been working since the day I turned 16. Im not going to lie at first I wanted her to get an abortion mainly because my dad was pressuring me into making that decision. I honestly wouldn't have been able to live with myself if her and I made that decision. I wouldn't change anything that happened and so far the experience has been more than anything I could ever describe or explain. I was told I was going to have the hardest time making a living and I wasn't going to make it anywhere in live and well to those people who said that  you. To anybody doubting these kids is totally wrong and should have no place to pass judgment on others.

Huge picture but thats my boy and i

This happens all the time here in the us i have 2 girls in my class that are pregnant right now and 1 that already has a kid its saddening to know that no one cares enough about theyre futrure to at least finish highschool and get married to someone willing to take care of them and a child and its even worse that these guys can just go around knocking up girls and moving on to the next like its nothing with no thought for the kid theyve just brought into the world
