I half agree with you, I agree that it shouldn't be used to bypass the character limit. I disagree that it should be 'gold members' only, long before TTG was created many users on multiple forums used this trend, personally I don't feel the need to add my signature at the end of every post, but I acknowledge this has been a trend used by many for several years. I've never been a gold member, so I'm assuming there is a feature to make it automatically add a signature? If that's true, then there you have it; your perk is intact. These people need to add it manually, and if they feel the need to do it, I don't see any problem. No hate, I respect your opinion I just disagree with that one statement you made. Unless it becomes a rule, then there really is no problem.

I also see gold members that already have signatures do it.

That's what annoys me the most.

I have seen people do this, and some of them use it to get past the 20 character limit. I don't really see the point to doing this, as they can clearly see what your name is at the top of your post.

I guess its like a signature, and you are signing off if you know what I mean.

I would rather see someone comment with their username than just putting 202020 to make up 20 characters, however I can see your point
