come with the power cord needed to like plug into the wall
and is there a need to buy a wireless adapter to connect to my router with this mother board:

it says 'This motherboard supports remote wake with the onboard Intel LAN, so you can connect with your PC from anywhere in the world.'
does this mean it has a wireless adapter built into it?

Yes, it'll come with a power cable to plug into the wall.
No, you'll have to purchase a separate PCIe wireless adapter.

Please be aware that the function for waking that motherboard is through the Onboard Intel LAN and NOT any third party USB or PCIe networking device.
