How long would it take to render a 5minute video with 3.88 gb of ram

RAM isn't the only factor when it comes to rendering. Other things affect it.
CPU.
GPU (if it's nVidea).
CAS of RAM.
Speed of RAM.
Speed of CPU.
Bitrate of the video.
Video Codec.
Video effects.

I could go on.

There is a bit more to rendering a video than just ram power.
Not only that, but nobody could give a realistic answer to this question without know specifics of other components, how long the video is, file type, program you're using, and many more variables that comes into play.

I have 2.75 GB of Ram available and for a 5 min video probably takes 8 - 10 mins

It's also based on processing power and how many processors are set to render the video

Not just RAM

You could add hyper-threading and video length to that list too. Way to many variables to consider here. :coffee:

RAM power is only the basic's of rendering.
