Neither the Xbox one nor PS4 gpu could handle DirectX 12. It's just more marketing lies like the cloud.
Do you really think Microsoft would make the two pretty much side by side and not include away to put in their new console.

Not necessarily, the ps3 flopped when it first came out, not look. Has more global sales then the 360
