i've seen posts about weight gains from strength training online but i was wondering if anyone here has done weight training and was wondering what is a healthy amount of weight to gain or how much you have gained, after 3-4 months of weight training i have put on 16 pounds was just wondering if that is a healthy amount to gain without seemingly any gains in fat.

You will always gain fat when you build muscle unless if you use supplements or vice versa. A healthy amount would be about three/four pounds a month and a pound would of that would be fat.
