There's really no reason to go back, we never found anything interesting in the moon, plus it's extremely expensive. I think we would rather invest the money to send humans to mars because we've never been to mars.

Lavish wrote You can see the moon with extreme detail with a telescope.
If they saw something on the moon, they couldn't exactly "hide it".

you ruin the fun in the conspiracy forum.

I'm almost certain that it's the cost, we talk about this in school quite often and that's what our teachers say.

Some would argue that the easy to respond to posts ruin all the fun in the conspiracy forum.
Not often enough when someone comes along and really blows your mind.

Like what other users have said, there's no point spending billions traveling to a place we've already visited multiple times. The moon is just a big rock with craters. Nothing special. It's better we spend the money on space exploration. It's time for the next human achievement; travel to Mars. We need to be able to travel farther than our own moon if we want to travel to other planets that are capable of sustaining life. If we can prove the existence of aliens, just think of the possibilities. So instead of spending billions on learning more about a dusty rock, we can learn about an planet that is possible in sustaining life.

We've learned what we can about that large rock circling the earth and moving on.

If for whatever reason they feel the need to spend a few more billion dollars to go back to that rock in space we've already been to i'm sure they would.

I think NASA has harvested the information they need from it and have moved on to other endeavors, like a trip to Mars for example. Theres just no point in spending the money to send someone back there to find out information we already know.
We need to move forward with the space program, not back.
