Synopsis
One of the biggest mobile smartphone games we've ever played is the original Temple Run. The endless running, violent jungle apes and coin collecting took over everyone's iOS/Android devices during the game's long stretch after release. The devs behind the game, Imangi Studios, knew not to rest on their laurels. So, the small development company fine-tuned the original and offered something new to longtime fans - Temple Run 2.

Gameplay
Temple Run 2 is a game that never ends. You are being chased by a big monster the whole time. You must slide under obstacles. Jump over rocks and blades that can kill you. Watch out for the flames to. Players must continuously take turns, slide, and jump over obstacles. Getting boosts will help you. Collecting coins can help you get boosts to and you can use it for purchasing items in the store. Make sure to capture gems because if you die they will save you. Though you do have an option to not use them. I forgot to mention that player can get across the map by using a rope. There is also caves where you go around in a little cart. The funnest part is going down the long river/water slide. In the store you can buy upgrades and characters. There are characters such as Guy Dangerous who you start out with. The fast Usain Bolt. Scarlet Fox, Barry Bones, Karma Lee, Francisco Montoya, Zack Wonder, and Montana Smith are the rest. Treasure chest can also be found and objectives can be completed.

Graphics
The Landscape of Temple Run 2 has improved from the previous. Everything looks more colorful and real. It won't hurt your eyes. There are tracks through in the caves. Curved roads are also new. The waterfalls actually look like waterfalls. the tress are horrible and looks like no effort was put into making it look good. The leaves are huge. In addition, the fire that you have to slide under and jump over looks weird. The fire looks like Fanta soda coming out of the ground.

Controls
Controls are easy my 3 year old brother knows how to play the game. It is just a swiping system. Swipe left and right when needing to go to different directions. Swipe up to jump over fires, big blades, and rivers. Swipe under to go under the fire, under the barrels in the water slide, and under rocks. When you don't want to jump over brick walls and rocks, you can move your device over to the left and right. You will definitely need to do this in the caves for staying in the mine cart tracks. Ziplining is easy just swipe up and the character will zipline across by himm/herself.

Upgraded graphics and a more varied game landscape, coupled with the original games accessible control template, make Temple Run 2 a pleasure to play.
