I don't know about you but this makes me mad to no end. I just can't stand thinking about this.
Some/most girls would rather have looks other than like brains or personality. I'm not the best looking guy but you know I'm not bad looking either, I guess you could say I'm in the middle or just above the middle. But I am very smart, and it makes me mad that all the semi-attractive women go around and hook up with the football and basketball players who are douchebags then they get treated like total crap and then they get played. I'm not saying all football and basketball players are douchebags, but lots of them are. They think they are better than anyone else but have the worst personalities.
Is it just me? Does this bother any other guys? I know you guys will say "There are plenty of fish in the sea"
I mean, I want to get a girl that is decently looking and is athletic and has the perfect personality, that likes me for who I am and not for what I look like you know? Anyone else feel like this.
(BTW I got a 100% on my Biology quiz today )
Edit: It might seem I contradict myself when I said I want a good looking girl, that's not what I meant exactly, I was meaning that I only want a girl that is decent looking, I really don't know how to explain it. She doesn't have to be popular. Hope you guys guys what I'm trying to say, sorry for the confusion.

This infuriates me. I had a girl on facebook who constantly puts up status updates claiming that all guys are "D*cks" because all they look for in girls are big t*ts and big a$$es that are on show which is completely untrue(in my case anyway). She then had the cheeck to put up a status saying "It should be the law for guys to have muscles and wear checked shirts with rolled up sleeves" so I called her out on her status, put her in her place and told her to stop being a hypocrite. Her status got 0 likes and my comment got 7 so she deleted the status and then blocked me.

I'm a straight A, advanced student and I wouldn't say I was blessed with good looks either but hey, those guys who girls think are "good lucking" will be working for us one day.

I mean, like Solve said, that's just the way it works. You must admit, you also notice very pretty girls just because of their looks. That's just how society is. Trust me, though, there are many girls who don't care about the looks and just want a funny guy with great personality. It's just about being yourself and winning the over, eventually it'll work.

You just stated that you are going for looks as well...
I think theres leagues, and you don't tend to get people that are too far out of your league depending on who you are.
Think of yourself in this position. There are probably girls that you know that are not on the same attractive level as you are on. If you aren't attracted to them, but they like you; they could easily say the same thing as what you just said.
I don't know if that makes sense, but what I am saying is that you have to date girls that are in your league.
You aren't going to be a decent looking guy, and get a supermodel. Its not how it works.

You have to be somewhat attracted to the person though. I'm not going to date someone who is absolutely ugly, I have to be attracted.

Please. Put some girls. Not all of us are like this. Looking back at my exes you'd know I don't go for looks. Making me laugh is the biggest plus in dating a guy. If they're kind and sweet, an even bigger plus. If they are attractive, sure, awesome, great. But seriously, you can't complain about some girls wanting good looking guys, when you just contradicted yourself at the end.

The world isn't going to revolve around your social circle, it's been here far more longer than you have. Women tend to go for the dominant guys, they don't want a vanilla nice guy that isn't exciting. If you're deeming yourself as ugly as you are ranting about how women objectify looks over being nice. Then go hit the gym and get a new fashion sense.

I disagree, you can find a handful amount of individuals who have a smoking hot grade a girlfriend and the dude looks as if he was smashed into the face with a 2x4. Self-confidence is usually a far more viable attractive attribute than physical looks. But if you have both-- great.
