Synopsis
Lead an army of soldiers in a series of scaled turn-based strategy battles. In the process, develop relationships with your team, utilizing their special abilities on the battlefield to gain victory and advance the story, which features a wide array of characters from a variety of nations and backgrounds. They can be joined by a character of your making, with a unique appearance crafted as you see fit

Gameplay
The story being with your avatar waking up. Near soldier called the shepherds. The Shepherds protect the citizens of the kingdom. And the Plegia soldiers want to attack the kingdom. They are looking to being a war. The story is full of interesting drama. The personality of the villains make this story hard to take seriously. It's a plot twisting strategy game. Like RPGs you user ground units to attack your enemies to win. The three main weapons are swords, lances and, axes. Archers have attack boosts. Magic can destroy the defense of warriors. Positioning is important by standing next to your team will boost your stats. Two characters close to each will help help them create a better bond. They can fall in love. Characters can help others by hurting the foe's with an extra strike or shielding their allies. The story like previous games is divided into chapters. However, you have a map that allows you to fight non story related battles and visit stores in-between events.

Graphics
The battle animations are better than other fire emblems. They are quicker and less clunky. The character art is not very good. The map animations are liek Ds games not much in my favor. The interface is fantastic and looks great on the 3DS. Each character has its own qualities but there changeability. Miriel has her hat and glasses on her base sprite (Mage), but on any other sprite, she has them but loses the hat but still keeps both on all models. The 3D effect on the 3DS remains my favorite. It looks far better to your yes than the screenshots you will see.

Controls
Controls are simple. You can control various thing s during battles. They are mostly just filmic effects rather than any outcome. You can play the battle by pressing A. Or just skip it pressing Start. The buttons on the bottom of the screen help you change the camera angle and pausing the battle. Control pad and circle bad help you move the cursor. If you want to skip messages, press down on the d--pad and press A. Move either of the pads and press A or Y to make your character move faster. All other controls don't need explaining as they are not important.

Ratings (Personal)
Fire Emblem Awakening is by far the best Fire Emblem game i have ever played. It has a great story, graphics, and loads of content even after beating the game you have couple of options like trying out the DLC.
