I'm going to have to disagree with you on this. In this current economy (USA), and current state of unemployment, anyway someone can save money, it's worth it for them. Some people may have it more tough than others. Living paycheck by paycheck, if they can save a large amount of money with coupons, than that's just one of many lifts off their shoulders. I don't mind standing behind people that bring out coupons, because I don't know their current living state, and if their not doing well, than who's to get pissed at them for wanting to save money?

To be honest, I wish my family would take advantage of coupons more than they do. They would save enough money to enjoy their selves every so often. I'd rather $50 stay in my pocket than a businesses pocket, don't you?

Also with the buying of large amounts of items, like peanut butter you suggested. They could donate some of their items to shelters. You never know..

The thing I do mind is Food Stamps, but not all users make me mad. Because for some it's needed, whether they lost their job or what-not. But when I see a mother in front of me with five little kids surrounding her, and she pulls out food stamps, that ticks me off. The thought of my money helping this woman who didn't have enough common sense to stop multiplying is baffling.

Everyone loves to save money, why wouldn't you? I can understand if you're rich and all but unlike you, most of us are middle-lower class and will take any and all opportunities to save some money.

It's a terrible economy, these types of individuals are frugal and will save money by any means necessary. It's not a bad thing, but isn't when it becomes an obsession.

Do you know how much effort and work that it takes? People spend hours and hours and hours collecting, organizing, and calculating every single item down the cent out. If I had the patients to do it, without I doubt I would. I would love to have an extra room FULL of random food that I basically got for free.

Another thing, whats one thing in retail that every single employee should know? The customer is always right. Its YOUR job to ring people out. Doesnt matter if it take 1 minute, or 1 hour. Thats YOUR job. Get used it and stop complaining.

Seen people like this on TV, despite the fact it looked so stressful, incredibly time consuming and the parent's children were embarrassed - they were paying next to nothing for $1000+ worth of food.

Well it really helps people save money...

It however does not take away from the store ... coupons are as good as money. The store takes coupons and they send them to the supplier and then they get paid for them.
