I have a HDPVR 2 gaming edition they are great I use it on my xbox one

I would go with the Elgato or the HD PVR 2.

It seems like lots of people are getting the Elgato. If I were to get one, I would most likely go with it too.

I have the HD PVR 2 for my xbox one. It works perfectly but even I would swap for an Elgato.

The Hauppauge HD PVR 2 GE + and with it being a top device I don't see why it wouldn't be able to handle the next gen consoles quality, graphics and more.. It's always updated so It might just be a case of driver updates but like I said it's early days. I'd recommend sticking with the HD PVR 2 GE + As it's the newest and by far the best device on the market for any gamer.
