I'm on a tight budget so [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] is my build ($550). Would appreciate any help and thoughts. Will be using it for gaming and editing. I want the games to run at medium to high settings without dropping below 30 FPS. I will also be overclocking the CPU and GPU. I have spare HDDs so that's not needed. Also need keyboard and mouse which I forgot to include.

This is why I made a hardware chart. OP, you want a relatively decent entry-level budget gaming build? Here's the best I got. Barely over budget, but should provide a great gaming experience for your money.

Total: $558.92

Both of the motherboards you guys chose don't support overclocking very well because of phasing. Also I don't need an HDD or Optical Drive but I am in need of a wireless keyboard and mouse.

Precarious, you don't have the right to think about overclocking until at the very least, $800 mark where you can balance a build with an overclockable CPU, motherboard that will support it, and a proper aftermarket CPU cooler. As far as your wireless KB/mouse, find what you can afford, as you get what you pay for.

What about [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] build? I would still be able to use it at 4.1 GHz without the need for a new motherboard right?
