I am looking to build a gaming PC with the same budget. The only difference is that I already own a monitor. So I have two questions for you.

Would I be able to use a GTX 760 graphics card with this set up, instead of the one you recommended?

Can you suggest a larger power supply, as I plan to upgrade the system in the future by adding a duel graphics card.

A GTX 760 will fit in very well with this build. And, if you want a more 'beefy' PSU, then just get the 650w version of that XFX unit.

build that craigy is nice but you also could use the gtx 760 u wanted also since the moniter isnt a touchscreen i would recommend windows 7 which is more traditional also if you know anyone in collage or works at a bank or something they could most likely get you windows for under $20

Windows 8 is better optimized for most games and does give better performance, so Windows 7 is kinda old. But it is still my preference. It's up to Jimbo on what he prefers.

Windows 7 is a 5 year old os. You can make Windows 8 into a traditional desktop environment with a some tweaking here and there with some help with third party apps.
